Jean Emile Laurent was born in Paris in 1906. Unfortunately, nothing is known about his training. His works in oil and watercolour show his own style with strong colours. Black silhouette lines dominate and often structure the depictions. In addition to everyday scenes, he mainly created marine paintings and landscapes. He liked to spend time in St Tropez and North Africa, which can be documented in his works.

Other works by artists up to € 5,000
