factory is Galerie Paffrath’s new temporary exhibition space.
Set against an industrial backdrop, it hosts changing exhibitions featuring works by contemporary artists.
A place for new perspectives and art in flux.

Exhibition from 7 to 19 May 2026:

Dates:
7 May, 7 pm: Opening
12 May, 7 pm: Artist-led tour
19 May, 7 pm: Closing event

The exhibition takes as its starting point the question of how colour manifests itself: not as a surface or a property,
but as something that takes shape through light, material and movement.
Here, colour is revealed as an unstable state that unfolds at the moment of perception and simultaneously eludes us.

The exhibition unfolds as a tapestry of diverse approaches, in which historical and contemporary perspectives intertwine.
Here, colour is not merely described, but made tangible as something that constantly shifts as one looks, walks
and interacts with the space.
