Kunststiftung Paffrath

The Paffrath Art Foundation has now been given its own show room to present the Foundation’s special works and those of its lenders.

The Paffrath Art Foundation was established in 2008 as a non-profit foundation with the aim of promoting academic research and exhibitions in the field of 19th and 20th century art.

This also includes the compilation of a foundation collection. Together with sponsors, the collection is growing with acquisitions and loans.

Paintings by Andreas Achenbach and Oswald Achenbach are currently on permanent loan to the Museum Jülich, and paintings by Lovis Corinth and Max Liebermann are on permanent loan to the Niedersächsisches Landesmuseum Hannover.
