Life is in full splendor: framed by a dense embankment, the stream flows under a wooden bridge at Gammel Kjøgegaard, a town near Køge south of Copenhagen. Covered over and over with water lily leaves and occasional water lilies, the surroundings are reflected on the surface of the water. Two startled ducks fly cackling into the adjoining bushes. A meadow with a forest can be discovered behind the harmonious scenery.
